في إطار حرص القوات المسلحة على تعزيز آفاق التعاون العسكري مع الدول الشقيقة والصديقة ، لدعم جهود الأمن والاستقرار البحري بالمنطقة ، استقبل الفريق / محمود عادل فوزي قائد القوات البحرية اللواء / بول أوور أوتينو قائد القوات البحرية الكينية والوفد المرافق له ، وذلك خلال زيارته الرسمية للقوات البحرية بالأسكندرية ، والتي استمرت لعدة أيام ، كما عقد الجانبان مباحثات ثنائية تناولت عددًا من الملفات والموضوعات ذات الاهتمام المشترك .
وعلى هامش الزيارة ، قام الوفد بزيارة شملت الكلية البحرية ؛ لتفقد منظومة الإعداد والتأهيل للطلبة داخل الكلية ، والتي تتم وفقًا لأحدث النظم التعليمية ، وكذا زيارة عدد من الوحدات البحرية المنضمة حديثًا ؛ للتعرف على القدرات القتالية وأحدث منظومات التسليح التي تمتلكها القوات البحرية المصرية ، فضلًا عن زيارة ترسانة الإسكندرية ؛ للتعرف على إمكانيات الشركة الرائدة في إنتاج وبناء الوحدات البحرية .
تأتي تلك الزيارة تأكيدًا على حرص القوات المسلحة على دعم أواصر التعاون العسكري مع الدول الشقيقة والصديقة .

Commander of the Egyptian Naval Forces Meets Commander of the Kenyan Navy
Within the framework of the Armed Forces’ keenness to further strengthen avenues of military cooperation with brotherly and friendly nations, and in support of regional maritime security and stability efforts, Lieutenant General Mahmoud Adel Fawzy, Commander of the Egyptian Naval Forces, received Major General Paul Owuor Otieno, Commander of the Kenyan Navy, along with his accompanying delegation, during their official visit to the Egyptian Naval Forces in Alexandria, which lasted several days.
The visit included bilateral discussions between both sides on a number of issues and files of mutual interest, reflecting the depth of military relations and the shared commitment to enhancing cooperation across various fields.
On the sidelines of the visit, the Kenyan delegation toured the Naval Academy to review the comprehensive system employed in the preparation and qualification of cadets in accordance with the latest advanced educational and training methodologies. The delegation also visited a number of newly commissioned naval units to gain insight into the combat capabilities and advanced armament systems operated by the Egyptian Naval Forces. In addition, the delegation visited Alexandria Shipyard to review the capabilities and expertise of the leading national company specialized in the construction and production of naval units.
The visit comes in affirmation of the Armed Forces’ continued commitment to consolidating military cooperation and exchanging expertise with brotherly and friendly countries in a manner that serves mutual interests and contributes to supporting security and stability throughout the region.

Le Commandant de la marine égyptienne rencontre son homologue kényan.
Dans le cadre de la volonté de forces armées de renforcer les perspectives de coopération militaire avec les pays frères et amis, afin de soutenir les efforts de sécurité et de stabilité maritime dans la région, l’amiral d’escadre Mahmoud Adel Fawzy, commandant de la marine, a accueilli le vice-amiral Paul Owuor Otieno, commandant de la marine kényane, ainsi que la délégation l’accompagnant, lors de sa visite officielle auprès de la marine à Alexandrie, laquelle a duré plusieurs jours. Les deux parties ont également tenu des entretiens bilatéraux portant sur plusieurs dossiers et sujets d’intérêt commun.
En marge de la visite, la délégation a effectué une tournée comprenant l’Académie maritimes afin de découvrir le système de préparation et de formation des étudiants au sein de l’établissement, conformément aux systèmes éducatifs les plus modernes. Elle a également visité plusieurs unités navales récemment intégrées pour prendre connaissance des capacités de combat et des systèmes d’armement les plus récents dont disposent les forces maritimes égyptiennes, ainsi que le chantier naval d’Alexandrie afin de découvrir les capacités de cette entreprise pionnière dans la production et la construction d’unités navales.
Cette visite confirme l’attachement des forces armées à renforcer les liens de coopération militaire avec les pays frères et amis.
