إلتقى الفريق أول / عبد المجيد صقر القائد العام للقوات المسلحة وزير الدفاع والإنتاج الحربى بالسيد / زوكان هيليز وزير الدفاع لدولة البوسنة والهرسك والوفد المرافق له الذى يزور مصر حالياً حيث أجريت له مراسم إستقبال رسمية بمقر الأمانة العامة لوزارة الدفاع ، وعزفت الموسيقات العسكرية السلام الوطنى لكلا البلدين .
تناول اللقاء بحث سبل تعزيز علاقات التعاون العسكرى فى العديد من المجالات ونقل وتبادل الخبرات بين القوات المسلحة لكلا البلدين ، وتوافق الرؤى حول مختلف القضايا والموضوعات على الساحتين الدولية والإقليمية .
وأكد القائد العام للقوات المسلحة على إعتزازه بالعلاقات التاريخية التى تربط بين مصر ودولة البوسنة والهرسك ، مشيراً إلى أهمية إستمرار تنسيق الجهود والتعاون العسكرى بين القوات المسلحة لكلا الجانبين .
من جانبه أشار وزير دفاع دولة البوسنة والهرسك إلى حرص بلاده على تعزيز العلاقات العسكرية مع مصر ، مشيداً بدور مصر المحورى ومشاركتها الفاعلة فى معالجة مختلف القضايا الدولية والإقليمية ودعم جهود الأمن والإستقرار بمنطقة الشرق الأوسط .
حضر اللقاء الفريق / أحمد خليفة رئيس أركان حرب القوات المسلحة وقادة الأفرع الرئيسية وعدد من قادة القوات المسلحة لكلا البلدين وسفير دولة البوسنة والهرسك بالقاهرة .

General Abdel Mageed Saqr, Commander-in-Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces, Meets with the Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina

General Abdel Mageed Saqr, Commander-in-Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, met with Mr. Zukan Helez, Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and his accompanying delegation, who are currently visiting Egypt. The meeting took place at the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Defense, where an official reception ceremony was held. Military bands performed the national anthems of both countries during the event.
The discussions during the meeting focused on enhancing military cooperation in various fields, exchanging expertise between the armed forces of both nations, and aligning perspectives on a range of international and regional issues.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces expressed his pride in the historic relationship between Egypt and Bosnia and Herzegovina, emphasizing the importance of continuing coordination and military collaboration between both countries’ armed forces.
On his part, the Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina highlighted his country’s eagerness to strengthen military ties with Egypt, commending Egypt’s pivotal role and active participation in addressing various international and regional issues, as well as its support for security and stability efforts in the Middle East.
The meeting was attended by Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces, the heads of the main branches of the armed forces, and several senior military leaders from both countries, along with the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Cairo.
