تلقى السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي اتصالًا هاتفيًا من العاهل الأردني الملك عبد الله الثاني بن الحسين.
وصرح المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية أن الاتصال شهد تأكيدًا على قوة ومتانة العلاقات بين البلدين الشقيقين، وحرص القيادتين على التنسيق المشترك في كافة القضايا الإقليمية بما يصب في مصلحة الشعبين المصري والأردني ويدعم مصالح جميع الشعوب العربية.
وأضاف السفير محمد الشناوي، المتحدث الرسمي، أن الاتصال ركز بشكل كبير على تطورات الأوضاع في الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة، حيث أكد الزعيمان على وحدة الموقفين المصري والأردني، بما في ذلك ضرورة التنفيذ الكامل لاتفاق وقف إطلاق النار في قطاع غزة، ومواصلة إطلاق سراح الرهائن والمحتجزين، وتيسير إدخال المساعدات الإنسانية في إطار المساعي الرامية لإنهاء المعاناة الإنسانية في القطاع. كما شدد الزعيمان على أهمية بدء عملية إعادة إعمار قطاع غزة بشكل فوري مع عدم تهجير الشعب الفلسطيني من أرضه، وشددا كذلك على ضرورة وقف الممارسات التي تقوم بها قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي ضد الفلسطينيين في الضفة الغربية.
وأكد المتحدث الرسمي أن الزعيمين أبديا حرصهما على التعاون الوثيق مع الرئيس الأمريكي ترامب بهدف تحقيق السلام الدائم في منطقة الشرق الأوسط، وقيامه بقيادة مسار يؤدي إلى هذا الهدف المنشود الذي طال انتظاره، بإقامة الدولة الفلسطينية على حدود الرابع من يونيو عام ١٩٦٧ وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية وفقًا لقرارات الأمم المتحدة ذات الصلة، وكذا ضمان التعايش السلمي بين كل شعوب المنطقة.
وأوضح المتحدث الرسمي أيضاً أن الزعيمين تناولا سبل تعزيز التنسيق والتشاور بين الدول العربية، والاستعدادات للقمة العربية الطارئة المقررة في مصر يوم 27 فبراير الجاري، بما يلبي تطلعات شعوب المنطقة نحو السلام والاستقرار والازدهار.

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call from King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein.
Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, stated that the call emphasized the strength and solidarity of the two brotherly countries’ relations, stressing their leaderships’ commitment to joint coordination on regional issues to serve the interests of both the Egyptian and Jordanian peoples, and support the broader interests of all Arab nations.
The call focused significantly on the developments in the occupied Palestinian territories. The two leaders reaffirmed the unified positions of Egypt and Jordan, including the crucial necessity to fully implement the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, continue the release of hostages and detainees, and facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid in order to alleviate the severe humanitarian suffering in the sector.
President El-Sisi and H.M. King Abdullah II also reiterated the imperative to immediately start the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip without displacing the Palestinian people from their land. Furthermore, they stressed the necessity to stop the practices carried out by Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinians in the West Bank.
President El-Sisi and Jordan’s King expressed their commitment to close cooperation with U.S. President Donald Trump in the pursuit of achieving lasting peace in the Middle East. The two leaders acknowledged President Trump’s leadership in working towards the long-awaited goal of establishing a Palestinian state along the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with relevant United Nations resolutions. They also affirmed the importance of ensuring peaceful coexistence among all peoples in the region.
The two leaders reviewed ways to strengthen coordination and consultations among Arab states, as well as preparations for the emergency Arab summit scheduled to take place in Egypt on February 27, aimed to fulfill the aspirations of the peoples of the region for peace, stability, and prosperity.
