إن هذه التصريحات لم تجد من يؤيدها في العالم غير قوى اليمين المتطرف والاستيطاني الإسرائيلي، وهي تمثل تحديا صارخا ومهينا لهذا العالم كله وقرارات الشرعية الدولية التي صدرت عنه منذ نكبة الشعب الفلسطيني عام 1948، والتي تؤكد جميعها على كونه شعبا محتلة أراضيه، وأن له حقا ثابتا في إقامة دولته المستقلة الموحدة على كامل أراضي الضفة الغربية وقطاع غزة، ضمن حدود الرابع من يونيو 1967 وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية.

ويؤكد الحوار الوطني بصفة عامة، رفضه القاطع جملة وتفصيلا، لأي نوع من التهجير أو النقل أو إعادة التوطين للفلسطينيين، لمدة مؤقتة او طويلة، ليس فقط لأن هذا يعد جريمة حرب بحسب القانون الدولي، ولكن أيضا لأنه يعني تصفية القضية الفلسطينية التي هي قضية القضايا العربية. وهنا يوجه الحوار الوطني تحية الإجلال والاحترام للشعب الفلسطيني الشقيق والصامد، على إصراره البطولي على مقاومة الاحتلال وتشبثه التاريخي بالبقاء على أرضه.

و يجدد الحوار الوطني باسم كل الأطياف السياسية والمجتمعية المشاركة فيه، دعمه الكامل للقيادة السياسية المصرية، على موقفها المبدئي والثابت الداعم لقضية فلسطين وشعبها بكل السبل السياسية والإنسانية، والمبادر فور وقوع العدوان الإسرائيلي على غزة بالإعلان عن الرفض القاطع لأي محاولة لتهجير الفلسطينيين من أرضهم بما يؤدي لتصفية القضية الفلسطينية.

وبالنظر إلى هذه الظروف الدقيقة التي يمر بها بلدنا الحبيب، فقد قرر مجلس أمناء الحوار الوطني عقد جلسة طارئة يوم السبت القادم الموافق 1 فبراير، لبحث الخطوات التي يجب اتخاذها من جانب الحوار وأطرافه، في مواجهة هذه الظروف، بما يساعد على حفظ الأمن القومي المصري، ويدعم مقومات الأمن القومي العربي

The Board of Trustees of the National Dialogue expresses its complete rejection and full condemnation of the statements made by U.S. President Donald Trump, in which he, according to his own words, incited the “ethnic cleansing” or “clean out” of Gaza from its rightful Palestinian inhabitants, forcibly displacing them to Egypt and Jordan.

These statements have found no support in the world except from the far-right and Israeli settler extremists. They represent a blatant and humiliating challenge to the entire world and to the resolutions of international legitimacy issued since the Nakba of the Palestinian people in 1948. These resolutions unanimously affirm that the Palestinian people are living under occupation, and they have an inalienable right to establish their unified independent state on the entirety of the West Bank and Gaza Strip, within the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

The National Dialogue unequivocally rejects, in general, any form of forced displacement, transfer, or relocation of Palestinians, whether temporary or permanent. Such actions not only constitute war crimes under international law but also signify the liquidation of the Palestinian cause, which remains the foremost issue for the Arab world. The National Dialogue salutes the steadfast Palestinian people for their heroic determination to resist occupation and their historical attachment to remaining on their land.

On behalf of all political and societal spectrums participating in it, the National Dialogue reaffirms its full support for the Egyptian political leadership’s principled and unwavering stance in supporting the Palestinian cause and its people through all political and humanitarian means. This leadership took the initiative, immediately following the Israeli aggression on Gaza, to declare its absolute rejection of any attempt to forcibly displace Palestinians from their land, as such displacement would result in the liquidation of the Palestinian cause.

Given the critical circumstances our beloved country is currently facing, the Board of Trustees of the National Dialogue has decided to convene an emergency session next Saturday, February 1, to discuss the steps that should be taken by the Dialogue and its participants to address these circumstances. The aim is to safeguard Egypt’s national security and strengthen the foundations of Arab national security.
