استقبل نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الخارجية، السيد فؤاد حسين، سفيرة الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية لدى العراق، السيدة ألينا رومانسكي.
تناول اللقاء مناقشة نتائج الانتخابات الأمريكية والإدارة الجديدة المرتقبة في واشنطن، إلى جانب استعراض نتائج القمة العربية الإسلامية وقمة المناخ. كما تطرق الجانبان إلى الوضع المتوتر في المحيط الإقليمي والتحديات الراهنة.
وناقش الطرفان مسار العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين خلال فترة الإدارة الحالية، والتوقعات المستقبلية لهذه العلاقات، مع التأكيد على ضرورة استمرار التعاون الجيد بين البلدين وتعزيز الشراكة بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Receives US Ambassador to Baghdad
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein received the US Ambassador to Iraq Alina Romanowski, on 18 November 2024.
The meeting touched on the results of the US elections and the new administration in Washington, in addition to the two sides reviewed the results of the Arab-Islamic Summit and the Climate Summit. Additionally they discussed the tense situation in the regional surroundings and the current challenges.
The two parties also highlighted the course of bilateral relations between the two countries under the current administration and future expectations for these relations, stressing the need to continue good cooperation between the two countries and strengthen the partnership to serve common interests.
