أجرى نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الخارجية، السيد فؤاد حسين،  اتصالاً هاتفياً مع وزير خارجية أذربيجان، السيد جيهون بايراموف. وتم خلال الاتصال استعراض العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين وسبل تطويرها في مختلف المجالات. كما ناقش الجانبان تطورات الأوضاع الإقليمية، حيث أكد السيد فؤاد حسين على أهمية وقف توسع رقعة الحرب وتجنيب العراق مخاطرها، مع التشديد على منع استخدام الأجواء العراقية في هذه الحرب. إضافةً إلى ذلك، تم بحث مشاركة العراق في مؤتمر المناخ المقرر عقده في العاصمة الأذربيجانية باكو خلال الشهر الجاري.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Holds a Phone Call With Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister to Discuss Enhancing Relations and Regional Development

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein held a phone call today with the Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Jeyhun Bayramov, on 4 November 2024.

During the phone call, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and means to develop them across various areas, as well as both sides discussed regional developments in which Minister Hussein stressed the importance of stopping the expansion of war and sparing Iraq its risks, adding the need to prevent using Iraqi airspace in this war.

The tow ministers discussed Iraq’s participation in the Climate Change Conference, scheduled to be held in Baku this month.
