وزيرة الهجرة تلتقي نائب الممثل الخاص لبعثة الأمم المتحدة في العراق
وتؤكد على أهمية تظافر الجهود لأنهاء ملف المخيمات
استقبلت وزيرة الهجرة والمهجرين السيدة إيڨان فائق جابرو، اليوم الاربعاء، نائب الممثل الخاص لبعثة الأمم المتحدة في العراق ومنسق الشؤون الإنسانية السيد غلام محمد إسحق، والوفد المرافق له، في مقر الوزارة وسط العاصمة بغداد، وشهد اللقاء مناقشة ملفي النزوح والعودة، فضلا عن التنسيق المشترك لدعم العائدين في المناطق المحررة .
وقالت السيدة الوزيرة خلال اللقاء” أن الوزارة ماضية بتنفيذ توجيهات رئيس مجلس الوزراء لانهاء هذا الملف الانساني، لاسيما التنسيق مع الجهات المعنية والشريكة لبذل مزيد من الجهود لدعم العائدين وتوفير البيئة المناسبة لهم .
كذلك اكد الجانبان على ضرورة تضافر الجهود من أجل تعزيز الاستجابه لفئات عناية وزارة الهجرة من نازحين وعائدين ولاجئين وغيرهم.
من جانبه ابدى نائب الممثل الخاص لبعثة الأمم المتحدة في العراق ومنسق الشؤون الإنسانية السيد غلام محمد إسحق دعمه لعمل الوزارة في انجاح خطتها لتهيئة الأرضية الملائمة لعودة النازحين طوعاً ، داعياً في الوقت ذاته إلى تكاتف الجميع في التعامل مع هذه القضية الانسانية وتأمين حياة حرة كريمة للعائدين .

And stresses the importance of concerted efforts to end the camps file
Minister of Migration and Displace, Ms. Evan Faeq Jabro, received today, Wednesday, Deputy Special Representative of the United Nations Mission in Iraq and Humanitarian Coordinator, Mr. Ghulam Muhammad Ishaq, and his accompanying delegation, at the ministry’s headquarters in central Baghdad. The meeting witnessed a discussion of the displacement and return files, in addition to joint coordination to support returnees in the liberated areas.
The Minister said during the meeting, “The Ministry is proceeding with implementing the Prime Minister’s directives to end this humanitarian file, especially coordination with the concerned and partner authorities to make more efforts to support the returnees and provide them with the appropriate environment.
The two sides also stressed the need to combine efforts to enhance the response to the beneficaires of the Ministry of Migration, including displaced persons, returnees, refugees and others.
For his part, the Deputy Special Representative of the United Nations Mission in Iraq and Humanitarian Coordinator, Mr. Ghulam Mohammad Ishaq, expressed his support for the Ministry’s work in making its plan a success to prepare the appropriate ground for the voluntary return of the displaced, calling at the same time for everyone to join forces in dealing with this humanitarian issue and securing a free and dignified life for the returnees.
