.وزيرة الهجرة توجه المنظمات الدولية العاملة في العراق بالعمل وفق خطة الوزارة
عقدت وزيرة الهجرة والمهجرين السيدة إيڨان فائق جابرو، اجتماعًا هامًا مع وكالات الأمم المتحدة والمنظمات الدولية العاملة في العراق، بحضور نائب الممثل الخاص للأمين العام للأمم المتحدة ومنسق الشؤون الانسانية السيد غلام محمد اسحق ، في مقر الوزارة وسط بغداد.
وشهد الاجتماع، مناقشة خطة المنظمات الشريكة مع الوزارة للنصف الثاني من عام 2024 وماهي التحديات التي تواجه المنظمات في عملية تنفيذ البرامج والمشاريع، إضافة إلى عرض أهم الاحتياجات التي ترغب الوزارة في دعمها من قبل المنظمات والتوجهات والرؤى الحكومية للمرحلة القادمة.
وأكدت السيدة الوزيرة، خلال الاجتماع أهمية “دور المنظمات والوكالات الشريكة بالعمل مع الوزارة لاسيما في مناطق العودة وخطط دعم العائدين”، مشددة على أن “الوزارة ستواصل دعم النازحين لحين الانتهاء من ملف النزوح وغلق المخيمات بالكامل”.
MOMD Minister directs international organizations operating in Iraq to work according to the ministry’s plan
Minister of Migration and Displaced, Ms. Evan Faeq Jabro, held an important meeting with United Nations agencies and international organizations operating in Iraq, in the presence of the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations and Humanitarian Coordinator, Mr. Ghulam Muhammad Ishaq, at the ministry’s headquarters in central Baghdad.
The meeting witnessed a discussion of the plan of partner organizations with the ministry for the second half of 2024 and the challenges facing organizations in the process of implementing programs and projects, in addition to presenting the most important needs that the ministry wishes to support from organizations and government trends and visions for the next stage.
During the meeting, the Minister stressed the importance of “the role of partner organizations and agencies in working with the ministry, especially in return areas and plans to support returnees,” stressing that “the ministry will continue to support the displaced until the displacement file is completed and the camps are completely closed.”
