ترأست وزيرة الهجرة المهجرين السيدة إيڨان فائق جابرو، اجتماع اللجنة المشكلة بالأمر الديواني ٢٤٢٦١ في مقر الوزارة، بحضور رئيس ممثلية أقليم كردستان السيد فارس عيسى والوفد المرافق له من حكومة الإقليم ونائب الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة ومنسق الشؤون الإنسانية السيد غلام محمد اسحق، فضلا عن أعضاء اللجنة ممثلي الوزارات المعنية والجهات ذات العلاقة.

وناقش المجتمعون، الآليات التي ستنفذ خلال الفترة المقبلة بالتعاون مع حكومة الإقليم والأمم المتحدة لضمان عودة آمنة وكريمة للأسر النازحة إلى مناطقها الأصلية.

السيدة الوزيرة أكدت خلال الاجتماع، أهمية تنفيذ توجيهات رئيس الوزراء الخاصة بعودة النازحين وإغلاق هذا الملف بالتعاون مع حكومة الإقليم وأهمية تنفيذه بعد توفير متطلبات العودة الكريمة للنازحين.

وفي بادرة حسن نية، قررت السيدة الوزيرة إيقاف إجراءات الدعوى المقامة أمام المحكمة الاتحادية العليا على حكومة إقليم كردستان بخصوص تنفيذ قراري مجلس الوزراء الخاصين بغلق المخيمات وإعادة النازحين طوعيا، بعد التعاون الذي أبدته حكومة الإقليم بهدف تنفيذ الخطة الحكومية الرامية إلى غلق المخيمات وإنهاء ملف النزوح بشكل كامل.

MOMD Minister chairs an important meeting with a delegation from the Kurdistan Regional Government to discuss the mechanisms for the safe return of IDPs.

The Minister of Migration and Displacement, Ms. Evan Faiq Jabro, chaired the meeting of the committee formed by Cabinet Diwani Resloution (24261) at the ministry’s headquarters, in the presence of the Head of the Kurdistan Regional Government’s Representation, Mr. Faris Issa, and the accompanying delegation from the regional government and the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations and Humanitarian Coordinator, Mr. Ghulam Muhammad Ishaq, and , in addition to the presence of committee members representing the relevant ministries and relevant authorities.

The attendees discussed the mechanisms that will be implemented during the coming period in cooperation with the regional government and the United Nations to ensure the safe and dignified return of displaced families to their original areas .

During the meeting, the Minister stressed the importance of implementing the Prime Minister’s directives regarding the return of the displaced and closing this file in cooperation with the regional government, and the importance of implementing it after providing the requirements for the dignified return of the displaced.

In a gesture of goodwill, the Minister decided to stop the lawsuit proceedings filed before the Federal Supreme Court against the Kurdistan Regional Government regarding the implementation of the Cabinet’s decisions regarding the closure of camps and the voluntary return of the displaced, after the cooperation shown by the regional government with the aim of implementing the government plan aimed at closing the camps and ending the displacement file completely.
