أجرى السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي اتصالاً هاتفياً امس بالرئيس الروسي “فلاديمير بوتين”، حيث قدم السيد الرئيس خالص التهنئة للرئيس الروسي بمناسبة إعادة انتخابه لفترة رئاسية جديدة، متمنياً له التوفيق والسداد، وللشعب الروسي الصديق المزيد من التقدم والازدهار، ومن جانبه ثمن الرئيس الروسي اللفتة الكريمة من السيد الرئيس، مشيداً بعمق وقوة العلاقات بين مصر وروسيا، وحرص الدولتين المستمر على تعزيزها، وقد بحث الرئيسان في هذا الإطار سبل تعزيز أطر التعاون المشترك على شتى الأصعدة.
وقد تناول الاتصال كذلك الأوضاع الدولية والإقليمية، وبالأخص الوضع في قطاع غزة، حيث استعرض السيد الرئيس الجهود المصرية للتوصل إلى وقف فوري لإطلاق النار، مثمناً الموقف الروسي الداعم للقضية الفلسطينية، ومن جانبه حرص الرئيس “بوتين” على الإشادة بالجهود المصرية المتواصلة على المسارين السياسي والإنساني، مؤكداً توافق الرؤى بين البلدين بشأن أهمية وقف إطلاق النار ونفاذ المساعدات الإنسانية، وأولوية حل الدولتين لاستعادة السلم والأمن بالمنطقة.
Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi spoke by phone with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The President extended sincere congratulations to the Russian president on his re-election for a new presidential term, wishing him success and prosperity, and wishing the Russian people more progress.
The Russian president expressed his appreciation for President El-Sisi’s kind gesture and praised the depth and strength of the relations between Egypt and Russia and their continued keenness to strengthen them. The two presidents discussed ways to strengthen the frameworks of joint cooperation at various levels.
The call also touched on the international and regional situation, especially in the Gaza Strip. The President reviewed the Egyptian efforts to reach an immediate ceasefire, praising the Russian position in support of the Palestinian cause. President Putin also lauded the continued Egyptian efforts on the political and humanitarian tracks. The Russian president stressed that the two countries’ views were aligned regarding the importance of a ceasefire, access to humanitarian aid, and the priority of the two-state solution to restore peace and security in the region.
