التقى السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي امس في أبوظبي مع صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن زايد، رئيس دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة.
وصرح المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية أن الرئيسين أعربا عن اعتزازهما بالعلاقات الأخوية الوطيدة بين مصر والإمارات، على مستوى القيادتين وبين الشعبين الشقيقين، والتي تنعكس على التنسيق الوثيق بين الدولتين بهدف دعم استقرار المنطقة العربية، لاسيما في هذه المرحلة التي تتزايد فيها التحديات دولياً وإقليمياً.
كما تناول اللقاء سبل تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية على مختلف الأصعدة، خاصة ما يتعلق بتنشيط التعاون الاقتصادي والاستثمارات المشتركة والتبادل التجاري، بالإضافة إلى تعزيز التعاون في العديد من المجالات التنموية يما يحقق مصالح الشعبين الشقيقين.
كما تقدم السيد الرئيس بالتهنئة على الإنجاز الذي حققته دولة الإمارات في مجال الفضاء من خلال قيامها بأطول مهمة فضائية لرائد فضاء عربي، متمنياً لدولة الإمارات وشعبها الشقيق مزيداً من التقدم والازدهار.
وأضاف المتحدث الرسمي أنه تم أيضاً استعراض آخر تطورات الأوضاع الإقليمية والقضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك، حيث توافق الزعيمان على مواصلة الجهد المشترك للدفع نحو تسوية الأزمات القائمة في المنطقة بما يراعي مصالح الشعوب العربية ويعزز التضامن العربي ويحقق الاستقرار والرخاء في المنطقة.
كما تطرق اللقاء إلى التباحث بشأن مؤتمر الدول الأطراف في اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة الإطارية بشأن تغير المناخ “كوب ٢٨” الذي تستضيفه دبي نهاية العام الجاري، وذلك بهدف الاستفادة من التجربة المصرية الناجحة في استضافة الدورة السابقة “كوب٢٧” بمدينة شرم الشيخ، والبناء على النتائج التي تحققت بهدف إعطاء دفعة للعمل المناخي المشترك على المستوى الدولي، بما يصون الموارد البيئية ويحقق مصلحة الإنسانية.

The Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency stated that the two presidents expressed their pride in the strong fraternal relations between Egypt and the UAE, at the official and popular levels. This is reflected in the close coordination between the two countries with the aim of supporting the stability of the Arab region, especially at this stage in which challenges are increasing internationally and regionally.
The meeting also discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations at various levels, especially with regard to revitalizing economic cooperation, joint investments and trade exchange, in addition to enhancing cooperation in many development fields to achieve the interests of the two brotherly peoples.
The President also congratulated HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed on the UAE’s achievement in the field of space after an Arab astronaut has completed the longest space mission, wishing the UAE and its brotherly people further progress and prosperity.
The Spokesman added that the latest developments in the regional situation and issues of common concern were also discussed during the meeting. The two leaders agreed to continue the joint effort to resolve the existing crises in the region in a way that takes into account the interests of the Arab peoples, enhances Arab solidarity, and achieves stability and prosperity in the region.
The meeting also discussed the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the Conference of the Parties to the Convention (COP28), which Dubai will host at the end of this year, with the aim of benefiting from the successful Egyptian experience in hosting (COP27) in Sharm El-Sheikh and building on the results. The aim is to give impetus to joint climate action at the international level, in a way that preserves environmental resources and achieves the interest of humanity.
