استقبل السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي اليوم، بمقر إقامة سيادته في العاصمة الفرنسية باريس، السيد “هنري بوبار لافارج” رئيس مجموعة “ألستوم” الفرنسية.

وصرح المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية أن اللقاء تناول التعاون المشترك مع شركة ألستوم الفرنسية في قطاع النقل العام، حيث أشاد السيد الرئيس بالتعاون البناء مع شركة ألستوم وغيرها من الشركات الفرنسية، وذلك في إطار العلاقات الثنائية المتميزة بين مصر وفرنسا، والخبرات الكبيرة لهذه الشركات في كافة المجالات في ضوء عملية التنمية الشاملة، مشدداً على حرص مصر على زيادة نسب توطين الصناعة والتكنولوجيا في الأنشطة المشتركة مع شركة ألستوم الفرنسية، مع الاهتمام كذلك بإنشاء مراكز لتدريب الخبراء المصريين للاستفادة من الخبرة الأجنبية في نقل المعرفة.

من جانبه؛ أكد رئيس الشركة الفرنسية اعتزام التوسع في أعمال الشركة في مصر، خاصةً في ظل الفرص الاستثمارية الواعدة التي يوفرها قطاع النقل العام المصري، والتي تعد بمثابة بوابة لتعظيم استثماراتهم في المنطقتين العربية والأفريقية، فضلاً عن تعظيم الاستفادة من حجم المشاريع الكبيرة الجاري تنفيذها في مصر، التي يتميز العمل فيها بالكفاءة والسرعة.

وأضاف المتحدث الرسمي أن اللقاء تطرق إلى استعراض أوجه التعاون الحالية لوزارة النقل مع شركة ألستوم، خاصةً ما يتعلق بالهيئة القومية للأنفاق والهيئة القومية للسكك الحديد، فضلاً عن التباحث حول المشروعات المستقبلية الجاري دراسة تفاصيلها بين الجانبين.

Le porte-parole officiel de la présidence de la République a déclaré que la réunion a porté sur la coopération conjointe avec le groupe français “Alstom” dans le secteur des transports publics, où M. le Président a salué leur coopération constructive dans le cadre des relations bilatérales distinguées entre l’Égypte et la France, soulignant la volonté de l’Égypte d’augmenter les taux de localisation de l’industrie et de la technologie de pointe dans les activités communes avec les grandes entreprises internationales, tout en prêtant attention à la création de centres de formation d’experts égyptiens pour profiter de l’expertise étrangère dans le transfert de connaissances et la formation des cadres, louant ainsi les efforts d’Alstom à cet égard.

Pour sa part, le président du groupe français a affirmé son intention d’étendre ses activités en Égypte, surtout à la lumière des opportunités d’investissement prometteuses offertes par le secteur des transports publics égyptiens, en tant qu’un portail pour maximiser leurs investissements dans les régions arabe et africaine, outre l’optimisation du volume de grands projets mis en œuvre en Égypte, où le travail est caractérisé par l’efficacité et la rapidité.

Le porte-parole a ajouté que la réunion a abordé aussi les aspects actuels de la coopération entre le ministère des Transports et Alstom, notamment en ce qui concerne l’Autorité nationale des tunnels et l’Autorité nationale des chemins de fer, ainsi que l’examen des futurs projets dont les détails sont à l’étude entre les deux parties.

Spokesman for the Presidency, Counselor Ahmad Fahmy, said the meeting focused on joint cooperation with the French Alstom Group in the transport sector. The President lauded the constructive cooperation with the French company, which comes within the framework of the outstanding bilateral relations between Egypt and France. President El-Sisi reiterated Egypt’s commitment to increasing the rates of the localization of the industry and advanced technology in joint activities with the world’s leading companies, while placing interest on establishing centers for training Egyptian experts to benefit from foreign expertise in the transfer of knowledge and building cadres. The President commended Alstom’s efforts in this regard.

Chairman and CEO of Alstom Group, Mr. Poupart-Lafarge confirmed his company’s intention to expand the size and scope of its business in Egypt, notably in light of the promising investment opportunities offered in the Egyptian transport sector, which is considered a gateway to boost its investments in the Arab and African regions. This is in addition to capitalizing on the size of the mega projects which are currently being implemented in Egypt and which are characterized by efficiency and speed.

The meeting reviewed aspects of the ongoing cooperation between the ministry of transport and the French company, notably with regard to the National Authority for Tunnels and the Egyptian National Railways. The discussions also tackled future projects, the details of which are currently being studies by the two sides.
