قام الفريق أول ‏‎/‎‏ محمد زكى القائد العام للقوات المسلحة وزير الدفاع والإنتاج الحربى بجولة تفقدية ‏لإحدى الوحدات الفنية للأسلحة التابعة لإدارة الأسلحة والذخيرة وذلك فى إطار إهتمام القيادة العامة ‏للقوات المسلحة بمتابعة عملية التطوير والتحديث المستمر للأجهزة والمعدات لمختلف القيادات ‏والإدارات والأسلحة التخصصية .‏‎

وشاهد القائد العام للقوات المسلحة عرض تقديمى تضمن شرح مفصل لإسلوب العمل والتطوير ‏المستمر فى ظل الثورة التكنولوجية لمجال الأسلحة ، كما تفقد معرض البحوث والإنجازات الفنية ‏لوحدات إدارة الأسلحة والذخيرة والذى تضمن عدد من النماذج التى يتم إنتاجها أو إصلاحها بتلك ‏الوحدات ويتم التعامل معها وفقاً لأعلى المعايير الفنية العالمية مما يسهم فى الحفاظ على الجاهزية ‏القتالية للقوات المسلحة .‏

أعقبه المرور على عدد من المراكز الفنية المتخصصة التى يتم العمل بهما وفقاً لأحدث النطم ‏التكنولوجية وبما يدعم مواكبة التطور العلمى المتلاحق فى تلك التخصصات ، كما إستمع القائد ‏العام للقوات المسلحة لعرض تضمن مقترح إنشاء مركز تطوير الأسلحة الصغيرة تضمن شرح ‏مفصل لمحتويات المركز وآليات العمل به بما يؤهل المتخصصين لتحقيق الإستفادة القصوى من ‏المركز واللحاق بالركب العالمى فى مجال الأسلحة الصغيرة .‏

وأشاد الفريق أول ‏‎/‎‏ محمد زكى بالمستوى المتميز والروح المعنوية والقتالية العالية لرجال إدارة ‏الأسلحة والذخيرة وإصرارهم على الوفاء بالمهام المقدسة المكلفين بها ، مؤكداً أن القوات المسلحة ‏ماضية بكل قوة نحو تطوير قدراتها القتالية والفنية وفقاً لأحدث النظم العالمية فى كافة الأسلحة ‏والتخصصات لحماية الأمن القومى المصرى .‏

حضر الجولة التفقدية عدد من قادة القوات المسلحة .‏

General Mohamed Zaki, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, toured one of the technical units of arms affiliated to the Department of Arms and Ammunition, within the framework of the interest of the General Command of the Armed Forces in following up the process of the continuous development and modernization of devices and equipment for various departments and Main Services.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces was briefed by a presentation that included a detailed explanation of the method of work and the continuous development in light of the technological revolution in the field of arms which contributes to maintaining the combat readiness of the Armed Forces.

This was followed by a visit to a number of specialized technical centers where latest technological systems are used in a way that supports keeping pace with the successive scientific development in those fields. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces also listened to a presentation that included the proposal to establish a small arms development center that included a detailed explanation of the contents of the center and its working mechanisms in a manner that qualifies Specialists to make the most of the center and catch up with the world in the field of small arms.

General Mohamed Zaki praised the distinguished level, morale, and high combativeness of the men of the Department of Arms and Ammunition and their insistence on fulfilling the sacred tasks assigned to them, stressing that the Armed Forces is moving strongly forward towards developing its combat and technical capabilities in accordance with the latest international systems in all branches and fields to protect the Egyptian national security.

A number of commanders of the Armed Forces attended the tour.
